——Lifeline of Deep Sea Connection and Precise Chemical Injection Scheme
Control Line Tubing for Subsea Umbilical and Chemical Injection:
Reliable, high-strength laser-welded coils in Duplex and Nickel Alloys (625/825). Designed for deep-sea high-pressure environments with lengths up to 50,000ft.
Control line play an important role in submarine umbilical cables and downhole chemical injection systems. Its structure is stable and can achieve long-distance seamless transportation, reducing the risk of leakage. It is suitable for deep-sea high-pressure, highly corrosive, and underground high-temperature environments. Common materials include 316L, 2205, 2507, as well as nickel alloys 625 and 825, which can maintain good corrosion resistance in chloride, sulfur-containing, and high-temperature saltwater. Control line tubing are usually supplied in the form of continuous coils, with high installation efficiency and adaptability to complex well trajectories and multi wellhead systems.
In deep-sea umbilical cable systems, control line tubing are used for hydraulic execution, chemical agent delivery, and monitoring signal transmission. It requires pressure resistance, bending resistance, and resistance to fatigue. Nickel based alloys are suitable for deep and ultra deep water environments due to their high strength and strong corrosion resistance. In underground chemical injection, the control line tube needs to maintain a smooth inner wall to ensure stable injection flow and resist chemical corrosion. The manufacturing process usually uses laser welding and cold drawing to make the weld more stable, with a smaller heat affected zone, ensuring the consistency of the finished product size and pressure bearing capacity. Quality control includes PMI, online eddy current, visual inspection, and air or water pressure testing.
MTSCO provides long-term supply of control lines, coiled tubing, and capillary tubing, covering materials such as 304, 316, 2205, 2507, and nickel based alloys 625 and 825. The Siri Tubing under its umbrella has continuous laser welding, cold drawing, and bright annealing processes, with a single disc reaching up to 50000 feet, and performs 100% PMI and pressure testing, meeting ISO and PED requirements, suitable for deep-sea and downhole environments.
