How Are Our Seamless Tubes Manufactured?

After the initial piercing, MTSCO heat exchanger tubes are formed using a high-precision cold rolling process. This ensures that wall thickness tolerances and surface smoothness meet the rigorous assembly requirements of modern heat exchangers. Following formation, the tubes undergo Bright Annealing (BA) in a controlled protective atmo sphere. This process preserves the original metallic luster of the stainless steel without the need for pickling. Compared to traditional AP (Annealed & Pickled) surfaces, MTSCO’s BA finish is smoother and cleaner, which significantly reduces fluid resistance and media scaling, ultimately optimizing heat exchange efficiency and extending maintenance intervals.
