Manufacturing Process Flow

The manufacturing of cold rolled seamless pipes starts from pierced tube blanks, followed by multiple cold rolling passes and intermediate heat treatment processes to gradually achieve the final dimensions. Cold rolling significantly improves dimensional accuracy and surface quality while enhancing the uniformity of the material structure.
At the finishing stage, the pipes undergo solution annealing, pickling and passivation, and straightening to ensure clean inner and outer surfaces and stable performance. All MTSCO seamless pipes are produced using proven manufacturing processes by long-term partner factories, ensuring consistent quality and supply stability.

Inspection Method Introduction｜Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
Ultrasonic Testing (UT) is a widely used non-destructive testing method for quality control of seamless pipes. By transmitting high-frequency sound waves through the material and analyzing their reflections, UT can detect internal defects such as cracks, inclusions, and laminations. This method is particularly suitable for identifying hidden defects that may occur during forming and heat treatment of medium and large diameter seamless pipes.
